I am delighted to be working with a well-established business based in Leeds to recruit a Finance Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, client-focused environment, supporting financial operations across key contracts. We are particularly keen to speak with candidates who are immediately available or becoming available at short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including raising customer invoices, credit notes, and vendor purchase orders in line with approval processes.
  • Coordinating intercompany agreements and transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Supporting client contracts through financial transaction processing and cost allocations within client systems, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Providing financial and contract reporting inputs, helping to deliver accurate and timely information to clients.
  • Setting up and maintaining new clients, vendors, projects, and prospects within financial systems.
  • Performing cost allocations and adjustments in line with guidance from Finance Business Partners and the controllership team.
  • Supporting month-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met within the accounting cycle.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and SOX controls, maintaining a strong governance framework.
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and drive operational efficiency.
