Marks Sattin is delighted to be working with a high-profile UK organisation to recruit a Finance Analyst for their Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to join a dynamic Group Finance team and gain exposure to FP&A, Financial Reporting, and Treasury.
About the Role
As Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the preparation of management information, forecasting processes, and financial analysis. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the Group, providing insight and supporting decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consolidating and analysing financial data on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
- Monitoring financial performance and identifying trends across P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow.
- Assisting with financial planning, forecasting, and annual budget processes.
- Supporting Group IT cost reporting and analysis of cost base.
- Providing analysis for Treasury, including funding plans, cost calculations, and cashflow monitoring.
- Conducting ad-hoc analysis for senior management.
About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or experience in a similar finance role.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong PC literacy.
- Strong analytical mindset with an affinity for numbers and data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with multicultural and geographically dispersed teams.
- Proactive, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
