My client are seeking a proactive and pragmatic IT PMO Manager to lead and manage the PMO function for a major IT Transformation Programme. This is a high-impact initiative that will drive significant change across the organisation, working closely with the CIO and Programme Director to implement the IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the PMO function for the IT Transformation Programme.
  • Own RAID logs, status reporting, and governance processes.
  • Support programme delivery and ensure alignment with IT strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with third-party vendors.
  • Provide both PMO leadership and programme support.
  • Ensure Agile principles are embedded within programme delivery.
  • Draft and maintain change strategies for IT.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement in a time-constrained environment.
  • Produce clear, concise written reports and communications for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong PMO management experience within IT Transformation programmes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership.
  • Highly proactive, pragmatic, and adaptable approach.
  • Comfortable using Excel or any other tools for reporting.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and engage with stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic and driven.
