Marks Sattin are partnering with a large organisation in the Midlands undergoing an exciting finance transformation programme. This a 6 month interim assignment with the possibility of extension. This role will require the Interim FP&A Consultant to commute to the office up to 2 days per week.

Our client is seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Consultant to support the Head of FP&A in driving better business performance and decision making through insightful financial analysis and reporting.

The Interim FP&A Consultant must be an experienced interim with a proven background working in a fast paced and complex environment. They will also be a self-starter with the ability to identify areas for improvement and act on them quickly and efficiently. If you have a knack for creating budgeting models and a passion for partnering with business stakeholders, then this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced budgeting models to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with non-finance stakeholders to provide financial insights and drive business performance.
  • Influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in creating and managing budgeting models.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Exceptional influencing skills with a track record of working effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Available to start at short notice.
  • Willingness to travel to the offices up to twice per week.
