Head of Architecture

We are seeking an experienced Head of Architecture to lead the global design and implementation of a comprehensive IT and Digital Strategy for a major transformation programme. This strategic role will shape enterprise architecture frameworks, drive technology innovation and ensure alignment with business goals across a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and embed a scalable technical and digital strategy.
• Define future-state architectures and technology roadmaps.
• Lead enterprise-wide governance for architecture compliance.
• Champion emerging technologies (AI, ML, IoT) to enhance performance and customer engagement.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing architecture team.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven leadership in IT strategy and enterprise architecture.
• Strong experience in delivering complex global technology solutions.
• Deep knowledge of emerging tech, data analytics, and platforms such as Microsoft D365, Power BI, and Azure.
• TOGAF certified with relevant academic qualifications.
• Strategic thinker with strong influencing and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable with complexity and able to communicate technical concepts clearly.

This is a high-impact interim role suited to a visionary leader with the gravitas and energy to drive digital transformation. Role requires 3 days a week on-site.
