Role Overview
I am seeking a detail‐oriented Payroll Administrator to join a friendly and supportive team based in Goole. This role involves managing payroll processes end‐to‐end, supporting clients, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while working to strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing payroll from gross to net
- Submitting payroll information to HMRC in a timely and accurate manner
- Calculating statutory payments (including SSP, SMP, etc.)
- Managing BACS transmissions
- Preparing and issuing P45s and P60s
- Liaising directly with clients to handle queries and provide support
- Resolving payroll‐related issues efficiently
- Supporting the wider team with general payroll duties
- Ensuring all work is completed within tight deadlines
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a payroll role
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and associated tasks
- Knowledge of Auto Enrolment
- Good IT skills and confidence using payroll systems
