Reporting to an excellent Finance Director and long-standing client of ours, the Finance Manager will lead management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and key operational finance processes. You'll play a central role in strengthening financial controls, improving systems, and supporting a small, collaborative finance team in a growing business.
Key Responsibilities- Produce accurate management accounts with commentary on variances to budget and forecast.
- Produce analysis on the performance of the business across various KPIs.
- Manage IFRS 15 revenue recognition, IFRS 16 lease accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Lead budgets, forecasts, and financial modelling.
- Oversee payment runs, credit control, and approval workflows.
- Support ERP and finance system optimisation.
- Maintain strong governance, tax compliance, and audit readiness.
- Mentor and support team development.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Broad experience across management accounting, operational finance, and FP&A.
- Technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and UK tax.
- Experience with IFRS 15 and project accounting.
- Familiarity with ERP/finance systems.
- Confident communicator able to work across teams and sites.
