Marks Sattin are delighted to be collaborating with a highly respected independent firm of Chartered Accountants in West Yorkshire that are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax specialist to join their Tax Team. Working closely with partners and senior colleagues, you will become a key member of the firm.

The Role

The role is primarily focused on corporate tax compliance, providing high-quality services to a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs. Alongside compliance responsibilities, there will be opportunities to gain exposure to advisory work and broaden your technical expertise over time.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
  • Ensuring all compliance deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.
  • Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for client tax matters.
  • Assisting clients with routine corporate tax queries.
  • Liaising with HMRC where required.
  • Identifying potential tax risks and opportunities within client portfolios.
  • Working closely with colleagues across accounts and business services teams to provide a seamless client service.
  • Keeping up to date with tax legislation and compliance requirements.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong corporate tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
  • Strong corporate tax compliance knowledge.
  • ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • A proactive and professional approach to client service.
