Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a Private Equity-backed Professional Services business on an exciting Buy & Build platform.
We are seeking a commercially driven CFO to partner with the Board in delivering an ambitious growth strategy through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
This is a hands-on, strategic role with responsibility for professionalising the finance function, strengthening governance and developing scalable systems to support continued growth and acquisition pipeline.
The ideal candidate will be a CFO with experience in PE-backed professional services businesses, ideally within a buy-and-build or similar roll-up environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is motivated by the opportunity to build, integrate and transform a growing business.
The ideal candidate for this role
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA).
- Previous experience working as the number one finance leader in a PE-backed business, and experience within a professional services or adjacent roll-up or similar environment.
- Experience supporting the transition of a Founder led business into a more professionalised environment, including strengthening governance, reporting, systems and processes.
- Strong M&A experience, ideally including acquisition evaluation, financial due diligence, deal execution, integration and post-acquisition optimisation.
- Highly analytical, commercially astute and technically strong, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to operate at pace and drive change.
