A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join a growing manufacturing SME and lead the finance function with real influence and autonomy. We are looking for a commercially minded individual who can develop the team and provide accurate and timely financial control alongside commercially-focused insight to support strategic decision-making.
A brief summary of responsibilities:
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Provide commercial insight to support pricing, contracts, and margin improvement
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial stability
- Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis
- Strengthen financial governance, controls, and compliance
- Partner with senior leaders to support growth and operational efficiency
About you:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA-qualified
- Strong management accounting background within manufacturing
- 3-5 years' experience in a senior finance role
- Proven leadership and commercial partnering experience
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Confident communicator with board-level exposure
