We are actively seeking a Management Accountant for a well established company in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.
The main duties include:
- Monthly Management Accounts preparation and presentation
- Prepare and review financial statements for 4 entities
- Prepare monthly journals for accruals & prepayments explaining rationale behind accounting judgements
- Full balance sheet reconciliations with supporting backing
- Variance analysis, including commentary
- Working closely with relevant business areas on Budget setting and forecasting
- Partner with key stakeholders to provide insightful financials
- Participate in statutory external audits and work with external accountants
- Engagement in transforming month end and other financial reporting processes
Our client is looking for a candidate who has:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
- Experience of preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
