Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast‑growing business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their Runcorn office.
Qualifications and Experience
- The successful candidate will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified ideally with some exposure to working within an SME environment.
- The ability to work in a fast‑paced business and manage workloads is crucial.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential and any exposure to working with either Xero, Sage or Netsuite would be a distinct advantage.
- The ability to build strong relationships throughout an organisation will be crucial.
Key Duties
- Responsible for month‑end close
- Cashflow analysis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Variance analysis and reporting on trends
- Profitability analysis
- KPI Reporting
- Business partner with all departments such as sales, supply chain, operations etc.
- Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
