The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, along with clear insight into business performance. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone comfortable working to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in line with strict group deadlines
- Deliver variance analysis and commentary to explain financial performance
- Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process
- Provide accurate profit reporting and performance analysis
- Assist with audit requirements and liaise with external auditors
- Complete VAT returns and support statutory reporting
- Contribute to process improvements within finance
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within a complex or multi‑entity environment
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with experience working across multiple systems
- High attention to detail with the ability to interpret and explain financial data
- Self‑motivated, organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively
- Comfortable working in a deadline‑driven, fast‑moving environment
