This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accountancy career looking to gain broad practice experience while continuing their studies. You will work closely with senior team members, supporting a range of client work and developing your technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Supporting VAT returns and management accounts
- Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with corporation and personal tax compliance
- Payroll processing support
- Using cloud software such as Xero
- Supporting client onboarding and system setup
- Assisting with client queries
About You
- Some practice experience (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of accounts, VAT and payroll
- Experience with Xero or similar software (preferred)
- A proactive attitude to learning
Ideally you will also be
- Studying AAT Level 4
- Planning to progress to ACCA or ACA
