Our client, a leading Consultancy, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their growing finance team. You will be reporting to the COO, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take ownership of financial management for a fast-paced business and play a key role in supporting senior leadership to drive business performance.
You’ll have ownership over the financial and operational strategy as the company looks to build on its organic growth to date, you will provide strategic leadership of financial planning activities whilst ensuring the controls, processes and systems are robust enough to deal with further growth.

As the Financial Controller, you will have responsibility for managing the full financial control function, providing critical insight into the company’s financial performance, and driving key financial decisions across the organisation, you will lead a small team while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support the business in meeting its financial targets. Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

Managing the preparation of financial statements.

Providing business partnering support to senior leadership and other functional teams, offering financial insight to drive profitability and cost savings.

Managing cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure, providing strategic recommendations for improvement.

Liaising with auditors during year-end audits.

Ensuring effective financial controls are in place, reviewing processes, and driving efficiencies.

Leading, mentoring, and developing a small finance team to ensure a high-performing and collaborative culture., An arm of the NHS require a Programme Officer to project co-ordinate the support for the PDP mobilisation work.

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with strong technical accounting knowledge.
