We are actively seeking a Data / Finance Analyst for a well established company in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.
The main duties include:
- Use data and analysis to present and communicate financial performance, linked to operational performance.
- Using Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and broader financial reporting tools to support sustained performance improvement across the business.
- Build insightful Tableau reports and dashboards that translate complex commercial data into clear performance narratives for our stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis, including profitability reviews, variance analysis, and financial modelling, to support business decisions and optimize performance.
- Work closely with the business unit managers to administer the Group's risk management and business performance monitoring system.
- Support efforts to improve reporting, forecasting, and financial data quality, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of financial information.
- Supporting routine and ad hoc budgeting, forecasting and business plan activities.
Our client is looking for a candidate who has:
- Experience of working in a Data Analyst role.
- Tableau or Power BI experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Management reporting experience.
- Some accounting knowledge.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
