Our client, a hugely successful market leader in their field, are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst to join them in a specialist area of the finance team. This is a fast-paced, high-growth business where your financial insights will directly impact growth strategy and performance. You'll work with key stakeholders across eCommerce, finance, and operations to drive smarter decision-making and improve forecasting processes.
You'll provide financial analysis and insights across all areas of digital trading and initiatives. You'll also play a crucial role in FP&A processes, helping to automate and streamline forecasting.
Day to day you will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting Senior Commercial Finance Managers across digital trading priorities, including sales analysis, promotions, marketing ROI, fulfilment, and payment methods.
- Enhancing understanding of cost lines, collaborating with cost owners in commercial finance.
- Delivering data analysis and modelling to support digital initiatives.
- Supporting FP&A activities, driving automation and efficiency in business intelligence software.
- Managing the sales and margin forecasting process for budgets and reforecasts.
- Ensuring accuracy in cost line inputs and reviewing P&Ls before submission.
- Monitoring actual vs. forecasted performance and addressing variances.
- Assisting in the development of FP&A packs and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Supporting contract negotiations alongside Procurement.
