Role: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Lancashire

Salary: £180,000 – £210,000 (initial 9-month contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the leadership team through a successful transaction
  • Lead on commercial and financial due diligence
  • Engage and build relationships with investors/buyers
  • Manage the data room and key reporting
  • Banking and working capital management
  • Build key relationships with stakeholders and advisors
  • Assist with key financial issues
  • Management of finance team of circa 14

Qualifications:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Experience guiding a business through a successful transaction
  • Strong commercial accounting skills
  • Exposure to working within a multi-entity organisation
  • Background in energy or a regulated environment (distinct advantage)
  • Strong staff management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
