Assistant Management Accountant Gloucester with excellent WFH £30,000 – £35,000 This role is working for a growing, medium sized service sector business and would suit someone who wants to develop their career in Finance. There will be involvement in a range of financial duties and you will form part of a supportive team. There have been examples in the past of people joining at this level and progressing through the business so we are on the lookout for someone with the potential and ambition to want to advance their career. Role responsibilities Assisting the Senior Management Accountant with the production of management accounts (including working papers and reconciliations). Providing financial and non-financial information to various stakeholders to enable them to understand the performance of their areas. Supporting the Purchase Ledger team with invoice posting and supplier queries. Monitoring of debtors and resolving sales invoicing queries. General transactional accounting and bookkeeping for various entities to provide accurate accounting records for management accounts production. Supporting ongoing process and systems development, proactively identifying areas for improvement. Candidate background Previous experience in accounts administration and/or purchase and sales ledger. AAT qualified/finalist. IT literate with an intermediate level of Excel. Someone who wants to progress their Finance career and has the potential and drive to progress. Accuracy and attention to detail – handling financial data, identifying errors, and ensuring compliance.
