This leading and growing national service provider is recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant. A home working role with the occasional requirement to make it into their Gloucester offices once a week, therefore candidates should be located close enough to happily undertake the odd journey. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will work closely with the wider finance team.

You\’ll get involved in the following:

  • Assisting in the preparation in production of the year end statutory accounts for all legal entities
  • Responsible for preparing monetary and revenue balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with the Financial Controller with tax advisors and external auditors.
  • Assist with VAT submissions for the group.
  • To understand the fee structure and assist in building and maintaining of the fee models.
  • Ensure revenue is appropriately accounted for on a monthly basis.

We\’re keen to find an AAT/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) studier with the desire to develop their knowledge and grow their career. You will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to work well under pressure as well as being a good communicator. Confident IT skills (knowledge of Excel) always helps.
