We are working with a leading international real estate and infrastructure business at the forefront of healthcare and residential assets. With a strong presence across the UK, US and Europe, the firm offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment and the opportunity to work on high-profile partnerships.
They are currently seeking an Accountant to join their London team on an initial 6-month contract, supporting financial reporting and partnership accounting activities. There is a good chance this could turn into a permanent role in the long-term.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the flow of financial information between UK-based partners/operators and internal stakeholders
- Perform monthly financial uploads and reconcile operator submissions
- Prepare supporting workpapers and carry out internal control procedures
- Consolidate financial data for reporting and performance analysis
- Produce accurate partnership financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
- Calculate and process monthly partner distributions
- Assist with tax-related data preparation and compliance
- Support audit processes and respond to auditor queries
- Year end financial reporting (UK GAAP, IFRS)
- Review financial submissions and investigate variances or anomalies
- 1-4 years' experience in accounting, audit, or finance (practice or industry)
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent but would also like to invite applications from candidates that are QBE or part-qualified
- Strong understanding of financial statements and controls from a Real Estate background
- Strong UK GAAP experience (IFRS / US GAAP exposure beneficial)
- Working knowledge of Yardi and intermediate to advanced Excel skills would be a distinct advantage
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment
This role is fully office-based in Central London. Immediate or short notice candidates preferred (1 month maximum).
