Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a prestigious Family Office based in central London, supporting the search for a seasoned Senior Investment Accountant to join their dynamic and growing finance function.
This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure across investment vehicles, property companies, partnerships, and trusts. The successful candidate will support ongoing finance transformation work, including system improvements. You will be responsible for management and regulatory reporting, performance analysis across multiple currencies, and helping drive greater financial insight. This is a key role within a lean team, requiring a detail-oriented, commercially aware individual with a strong technical background and the ability to roll up their sleeves where needed.
You will also support bank reporting, external audits, and liaise with key third parties, including property managers and banks. As a senior member of the team, you\’ll review and guide the work of junior accountants and contribute to process improvement across the department.
The Ideal Candidate
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or ACMA), Ideally chartered
- Ideally experienced in investment or property accounting, with exposure to partnerships and trusts.
- Strong technical grounding in management and statutory accounts preparation.
- Proficient in Excel, with a strong grasp of financial systems and data.
- Able to build effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including property managers and banks.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident reviewing junior team members\’ work.
- Adaptable, commercially aware, and able to respond at pace to evolving priorities.
- Family office , Asset Management , Hedge fund, Private equity or Fund/Investment accounting experience is desirable.
