Role - Group Financial Controller Location - Preston Salary - Between £85,000 and £110,000 + additional benefits
Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing PE backed business in their search for a Group Financial Controller to work out of their office based just outside Preston with a hybrid working model.
The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and must have worked for a complex business previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of consolidating accounts would be preferable. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working within a PE backed environment previously would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Group Financial Controller role will involve:
- Responsible for the group consolidated financial statements
- Lead on the timely delivery of management reporting
- Lead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisation
- Assist with providing financial information for acquisitions
- Prepare and review year end statutory accounts
- Responsible for the group VAT and tax compliance
- Investor reporting
- Look to strengthen internal controls and processes
- Produce and present key financial reporting
- Management of a finance team
Salary for the role is between £ + additional benefits
