We are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy finance team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll data including starters, leavers, sickness, maternity and employee changes.
- Manage payroll using Sage Payroll, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Complete manual calculations and produce payroll reports.
- Process HMRC updates, tax codes, student loans and third-party deductions.
- Maintain pension records and ensure contributions are processed correctly.
- Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers.
- Work closely with HR and the Payroll Manager to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Previous payroll administration experience.
- Good understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
- Sage Payroll experience is desirable.
- Strong Excel and general IT skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- CIPP qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
