Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with an established and successful business in East Leeds to recruit a Finance Analyst into their finance function.
This is a newly created role offering excellent exposure across finance, operations and commercial teams. You'll play a key role in turning financial and operational data into meaningful insight, supporting senior stakeholders with informed decision-making and business performance.
The role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Producing and analysing financial reporting, KPIs and management information
- Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Translating large datasets into clear, commercially relevant insight
- Developing reports and dashboards to support decision-making
- Supporting asset performance and capex analysis
- Partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve and automate reporting processes
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects
The ideal candidate
You'll ideally have:
- Experience within an industry finance environment
- Strong financial reporting, KPI and variance analysis experience
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A curious, commercially minded approach with excellent attention to detail
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Experience within a service-led or asset-intensive business would be advantageous.
