Delighted to be supporting with a longstanding business of mine who are looking to recruit a Payroll Team Leader to join on a 18 Months FTC basis.
- Key Responsiblities
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of all weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring completion of all associated payments.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the payroll team, allocating resources effectively to meet business needs.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains across payroll systems and workflows.
- Maintain expert knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments, pensions legislation, and ensure all payroll activity adheres to statutory requirements.
- Lead and develop payroll administrators, supporting performance across weekly and monthly cycles.
- Take ownership of payroll system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
- Provide support to the Group Payroll Manager on ad hoc projects, audits, and business initiatives.
About You
- Proven experience leading and developing payroll teams.
- 5+ years payroll experience, ideally within retail or manufacturing environments.
- CIPP qualification desirable.
- Experience using MHR i Trent and IRIS Cascade is highly desirable.
