Assistant Management Accountant - European Investment Firm (Contract Position)
£200-£230 per day via umbrella

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a small, well-established European investment firm in a broad and varied Assistant Accountant role.
This is a great position for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment where they can take real ownership rather than being restricted to one narrow area of finance.
Working closely with the wider finance team, you will gain exposure across the UK and US businesses, supporting everything from accounts payable and expenses through to reconciliations, intercompany accounting and month-end. As you develop in the role, there will also be the opportunity to take greater responsibility for the underlying books and accounts of the firm's operating companies.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the purchase ledger process through Sage, including invoice checking, coding and obtaining appropriate approvals.
Reviewing UK and US employee expenses through Navan, ensuring claims comply with company policy and are correctly categorised and posted.
Preparing and setting up supplier and employee expense payments.
Analysing recharged expenses, raising quarterly invoices to portfolio companies and following up outstanding payments.
Working with PAs and internal stakeholders to analyse corporate card expenditure and ensure costs are accurately recorded.
