Relief Duty Officer Marks Consulting Partners are currently recruiting for a Relief Duty Officer to work with one of our local authority clients in Sussex.
This is a temporary position paying £30 per hour.
What you will be doing: Seeking to prevent homelessness arising wherever possible by working with people at risk, ensuring timely advice and assistance Discharging the council's statutory duties and responsibilities for homeless persons in accordance with the provisions set out in the 1996 Housing Act Fully investigating formal homelessness applications Making complex legal decisions regarding the council's duties to applicants What you will need: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Housing Options Officer Previous experience of Home Connections/HOPE A strong working knowledge of homelessness law and policy If this job is not quite right for you but you are looking for something new, please contact us for a confidential discussion.
