An established multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation across the North West is looking to appoint a Graduate or Assistant Building Surveyor into its Preston office. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their Building Surveying career who wants genuine exposure, strong APC support and the chance to work closely alongside experienced Chartered Surveyors and Partners rather than becoming stuck in a narrow role. You’ll join a collaborative consultancy environment where people are supported, trusted and given real responsibility early on.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out building surveys and condition reports
  • Supporting project delivery and contract administration work
  • Assisting with planned maintenance programmes and defect diagnosis
  • Preparing technical reports, specifications and feasibility studies
  • Attending client meetings and site inspections
  • Gaining exposure across both project and professional work

Sector exposure:

You’ll work across commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, public sector, residential, leisure and retail projects nationwide. Current clients include major organisations across local government.
