Marks Consulting Partners is one of the UK's leading specialist recruitment agencies, serving the housing, property, regeneration and development sectors. Over the last 10 years, we’ve built long-term partnerships with local authorities, housing associations, consultancies and private sector organisations across the UK. We’ve grown from a start-up into a multi-million-pound business and we’re now looking for ambitious recruiters who want to play a key role in our next phase of growth.

This isn’t just another recruitment role. We’re looking for an experienced recruiter who wants the freedom to build a specialist market, the backing of an established brand, and access to the technology, marketing and support needed to maximise their success. If you’re consistently billing, commercially driven and looking for a business where your career progression is genuinely in your hands, we’d love to speak with you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you’ll take ownership of your own specialist market, developing long-term relationships with both clients and candidates. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Winning new business and developing new client relationships
  • Growing and managing existing accounts
  • Building networks of high-quality candidates within your specialist market
  • Managing recruitment campaigns from initial brief through to successful placement
  • Negotiating terms, fees and offers
  • Becoming a trusted advisor to clients through market insight and recruitment expertise
  • Building your personal brand through LinkedIn and networking
  • Attending client meetings, networking events and industry conferences

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in recruitment
  • A proven track record of consistent billing and business development
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A commercial mindset with a passion for winning business
  • A proactive, ambitious and competitive attitude
  • A desire to continue progressing your career within a growing business

Experience within the property, housing, construction or public sector recruitment markets would be advantageous but isn’t essential.

What You’ll Receive

We believe great recruiters perform best when they’re given the right environment, support and tools. You’ll benefit from:

  • Structured salary reviews and genuine promotion opportunities
  • Access to a database of almost 100,000 sector professionals
  • Established PSLs and long-standing client relationships across the UK
  • Industry-leading recruitment technology and sourcing tools
  • Dedicated marketing support to help build your personal brand
  • Direct support from experienced directors with over 25 years of recruitment expertise
  • Michelin-star achievers’ lunches, Annual high-achiever incentive trips
  • Private healthcare
  • Employee of the Month awards
  • Team socials and events
  • Modern, high-spec office environment with free parking

Why Join Marks Consulting Partners?

We’re large enough to provide established clients, proven systems and real career opportunities, but small enough that your contribution genuinely shapes the future of the business. Our consultants are trusted to run their desks like business owners. We provide the infrastructure, market knowledge, technology and support that allows high performers to focus on what they do best, building relationships and generating revenue.
