A high-growth, modern building consultancy is looking for a driven, commercially-minded Senior Building Surveyor to join their team in Newcastle. Founded by former big-firm surveyors, this business exists to do things better: faster decisions, practical solutions, direct client impact and genuine progression - without corporate layers or rigid boxes.

The work you'll lead:
- Pre-acquisition and technical due diligence
- Dilapidations strategy (landlord and tenant)
- Contract administration and project delivery
- Defect analysis and technical reporting
- Schedules of condition and PPM surveys
- Party wall and neighbourly matters
- Exposure to expert witness and housing disrepair work
You will manage your own workload, develop client relationships and have freedom to shape your portfolio to your strengths.
What you need:
- MRICS (post-chartership preferred)
- Strong commercial and client-facing skills
- Able to run instructions independently
- Proactive, solutions-focused and confident communicating with decision-makers
- Ambition to grow with the business (BD exposure welcome, not essential)
