Our Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Surveyor to join our team on an interim basis, playing a key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Audit and verify the completion of fire safety actions
  • Scope, specify, and issue works required to address identified risks
  • Provide competent person sign-off on fire safety documentation
  • Validate evidence of completed works and ensure audit trails are maintained
  • Support continuous improvement of fire safety standards across the estate

Requirements

  • Recognised Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in fire risk assessment validation and auditing
  • Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and best practice
  • Ability to scope remedial works and manage action closure effectively
  • Competent person status (or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience and knowledge)

Desirable

  • Registration on the National Fire Risk Assessors Register (Tier 2)
  • Candidates not currently registered must be willing to obtain this within 3 months of appointment
