Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for an Estates Surveyor to work with one of our Local Authority clients in Surrey.
What the job will be doing:
- To assist the Property Portfolio Manager and the Corporate Head of Service to provide effective, professional and timely valuation and estates advice and services in the management and development of the Council's corporate property/estate.
- To work with the Property Portfolio Manager to ensure an efficient and effective corporate estate that makes the best use of extracts optimum value from the assets.
- Assist the Property Portfolio Manager in providing a wide range of estate management and valuation services in respect of the Council's estate.
- To manage and undertake lease renewals, rent reviews, new lettings, assignments and surrenders and assist with other estate management services as required including rent roll, service charges.
- To work with Property Portfolio Manager to put in place an Asset Management Plan that can be adopted by the Council.
- To liaise with the building and project team and facilities team to ensure a sustainable, fit for purpose operational and investment property portfolio.
- To assist with the managing of the graduate surveyor and property administrators as and when necessary.
What you will need:
- Possession of a degree in surveying.
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Experience assisting in managing a portfolio of mixed properties.
