Marks Consulting Partners are recruiting an Asset Data Officer for one of our local authority clients in Essex. This is a temporary opportunity suited to a property professional with solid experience across estates, land transactions, and asset records management.
In this role you will be:
- Managing a wide range of property and land transactions, including leasehold and freehold acquisitions and disposals, lease extensions, rights of way, easements, licences and Right to Buy matters
- Producing and reviewing property plans and maps to support legal transactions, including Land Registry compliant plans
- Providing support and advice on commercial leases, conveyancing processes, title documentation, ownership queries and boundary matters
- Maintaining and updating property and asset records to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
- Researching and analysing information from property, mapping and legal data sources, including Land Registry records and utility and highways searches
- Handling property ownership enquiries, including FOI requests, and liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Producing reports and carrying out data analysis relating to rents, lease events, property records and asset information
- Supporting wider estates and asset management projects through GIS and geospatial analysis where required
