Marks Consulting Partners are working with a respected, mid-sized property and construction consultancy to appoint an Associate Director of Building Surveying.\\n\\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute and hands-on leader to join a growing team delivering high-quality consultancy services across commercial, mixed-use, and select residential sectors.\\n\\nYou’ll be a visible, trusted advisor—balancing technical excellence with people leadership and client management.\\n\\nWhat the job will be doing\\n\\n• Lead and deliver building surveying instructions across commercial offices, retail, industrial, and residential assets.\\n• Oversee and mentor a small team of surveyors, supporting their development and performance.\\n• Manage key client relationships and drive best practice in all project delivery.\\n• Oversee professional services including dilapidations, technical due diligence, defect analysis, and contract administration.\\n• Contribute to business growth through networking, client development, and strategic input.\\n• Ensure work is delivered efficiently, maintaining the consultancy’s strong reputation for quality and service.\\n\\nWhat you will need\\n\\n• Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with solid post-qualification experience, ideally already operating at senior or associate level.\\n• Proven experience delivering across commercial and residential sectors.\\n• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to influence clients and guide teams.\\n• Commercial awareness and the ability to win and grow business.\\n• Collaborative mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for professional excellence.\\n\\nThe Offer\\n\\n• Salary up to £85,000 (dependent on experience).\\n• Discretionary annual bonus and car allowance.\\n• Hybrid working and a flexible, people-first culture.\\n• Clear progression path within a dynamic, growing consultancy.\\n\\nIf you’re an ambitious Associate Director or experienced Senior Surveyor ready to shape your own future within an expanding, relationship-driven practice, we’d love to hear from you.\\n\\nApply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation
