We're working with an established property consultancy that is investing in the growth of its valuation department. This is an opportunity to join at an exciting stage and play a key role in its development, while gaining exposure to agency and lease advisory work alongside your core valuation responsibilities.
Valuation experience is preferred, but it's not essential. The team is open to training the right person who is commercially minded, quick to learn, and genuinely wants to build a career in valuation.
What you'll be doing
- Undertake secured and unsecured valuations across Devon and Somerset
- Work across retail, office, industrial and residential property
- Build relationships with an established client base
- Develop your own network and contribute to winning new instructions
- Take on increasing responsibility as your experience develops
- Combine valuation work with agency and lease advisory instructions where appropriate
What they're looking for
- MRICS qualified surveyor, ideally with valuation experience
- Strong commercial awareness and a willingness to learn
- Ambition to progress and develop your own client base
- Confident communication and report writing skills
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- Regional knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
- Full UK driving licence
