Summary

As a Technical Programme Manager in Fashion, Home & Beauty Tech, you'll help deliver complex technology programmes that provide the systems and capabilities our business relies on. You'll bring teams together, create clear and integrated delivery plans, and keep work moving by managing dependencies, risks and delivery challenges.

Partnering with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Delivery and business stakeholders, you'll strengthen delivery flow, transparency and ways of working while supporting releases, budget oversight and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

  • Lead the planning and coordination of key Fashion, Home & Beauty Tech initiatives, creating integrated plans aligned with priorities, roadmaps and the M&S Way of Delivery.
  • Improve delivery flow by identifying inefficiencies, removing blockers and supporting effective agile planning, prioritisation and ceremonies.
  • Coordinate sequencing and dependencies across teams, working with Engineering and Product to clarify ownership, resolve trade-offs and surface risks early.
  • Provide clear delivery transparency by tracking progress, milestones, outcomes and programme budgets, escalating delivery or cost risks through the right governance.
  • Support release readiness and rollout into the business while championing continuous improvement and helping to develop delivery capability across the team.

Who you are

  • You bring project or programme management experience from complex technology initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with programme management tools such as Jira and Monday.com, alongside agile planning, prioritisation and delivery practices.
  • Able to coordinate sequencing and dependencies, facilitate delivery conversations, and keep progress, risks and issues visible.
  • You bring a collaborative and adaptable approach, building trusted relationships and creating clarity in evolving environments.
  • You have financial and commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset; experience in retail or another complex business environment would be helpful but is not essential.
