Summary
Lead a team in a Marks and Spencer store in Newry, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales and profitability, recruiting and developing staff, and maintaining store standards and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the growth and profitability of the store through the implementation of the retail plan and delivery of the KPI measures for the area of accountability.
- Role model excellent customer service and ensure delivery of a customer-focused service proposition that delights customers.
- Recruit, develop and manage the customer assistant team, supporting succession requirements of the store and region.
- Motivate colleagues to deliver their part and understand their roles.
- Ensure the store trades safely and legally, protecting customers, colleagues and the M&S brand.
- Support delivery of an inspirational, improved and consistent visual customer journey in-store, inspiring customers to shop and buy more often.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive profitability and sales for the area through the delivery of the retail plan and store KPIs.
- Embed business transformation plan and change initiatives.
- Set clear expectations and deliver great standards and service.
