As the Performance Marketing Manager you will work closely with the CRM, Paid, SEO & Sparks teams with a focus on developing and implementing overarching channel strategies to drive customer traffic and acquisition for Brands at M&S. Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Lead the digital performance & owned channel arm of the “Brands at M&S” marketing team.
  • Work closely with the CRM, Paid, SEO & Sparks teams in M&S Online with a focus on developing and implementing overarching channel strategies to drive customer traffic and acquisition for Brands at M&S.
  • Own the customer acquisition and retention strategy for thesportsedit.com (part of the M&S group) to deliver growth targets by driving value from our existing database and increasing sales from new customers.
  • Work closely with your peers in the marketing function (Brand Relations, Brand & Creative Marketing) to drive a seamless & cohesive Brands at M&S marketing plan, in-line with business unit growth targets.

The ideal candidate will be confident leading strategy and influencing senior stakeholders with a proven track record in a similar-level performance marketing management role.

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working in performance marketing roles within the retail, fashion, or consumer goods domain.
  • Excellent ecommerce experience with a broad knowledge of best practice in driving online sales (preferably in retail space).
  • Thorough understanding and experience of both strategic and practical implementation of performance marketing channels including CRM, SEO, PPC & Affiliates.
  • Highly analytical, numerate and a super user of analytics tools (specifically Google Analytics & Adobe), with the ability to analyse trends and implement marketing initiatives accordingly.
