If you love to lead and take responsibility, there is a great opportunity for Operations Team Managers on Week 2 Nights to join our Outbound Chamber.
Your role as a Team Manager is to lead and empower colleagues by applying your leadership, coaching and development skills. You will focus on delivering the right products to the right places at the right time for our M&S customers while ensuring a safe, supportive, and high-performing work environment for your team. Your site Team Managers on Nights follow a two-week rota pattern; start and finish times vary slightly depending on the area.
- Proactively managing people issues (including wellbeing, absence, talent and performance management) and ensuring consistent application of policy and advice
- Actively promoting colleague engagement to ensure colleagues feel valued and supported
- Managing operational processes to improve productivity
- Supporting Shift Managers in planning, managing and adjusting staffing levels during the shift, aligned with planned and flexed volumes to deliver site KPIs as defined by customer requirements
- Driving a positive culture of health and safety by leading by example and following standard process requirements
- Driving cross-functional working as one team to ensure delivery of site targets and exceed customer expectations
Experience leading teams with clear direction through proactive engagement. Ability to use data to make commercially led decisions. Proactive, self-starting mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Understanding the impact of commercial decisions on the site and other areas of the business, while focusing on external and internal customer requirements for quality, efficiency and accuracy.
