What you’ll do:

  • Deliver and own high‑quality software: Build, maintain, and operate reliable, cloud‑based solutions with strong automation, taking full ownership of delivery, support (including out‑of‑hours rota), and issue resolution.
  • Drive engineering excellence and DevOps practices: Lead adoption of DevOps, automation, and experimentation to improve the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, while continuously measuring and enhancing development metrics, quality, and stability.
  • Lead and contribute to frameworks, standards, and strategy: Develop and embed engineering frameworks, policies, and standards, while contributing to product planning, roadmaps, and defining/achieving Product Group objectives and key results.
  • Mentor and uplift engineering capability: Support, coach, and mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing, fostering clean, high‑quality code and continuous learning.
  • Promote innovation, collaboration, and community engagement: Champion technology, ways of working, and innovation across teams; actively participate in communities of practice; and contribute to recruitment strategy and hiring plans.
