As Program PMO Lead, you'll lead the Programme Management Office for the Landmark Programme, setting the governance, reporting, and delivery standards that support one of M&S's most significant transformation programmes.

You'll provide strategic oversight, enable clear decision-making, and ensure senior stakeholders have visibility of programme performance, risks, and progress.

Working across M&S, systems integrators, and third-party partners, you'll play a pivotal role in driving delivery excellence, embedding strong governance, and leading a high-performing PMO team to support successful programme outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Lead the PMO for the Landmark Programme, establishing governance, reporting, and delivery standards across a complex, multi-year transformation programme.
  • Shape executive reporting and Programme Board communications, providing clear and insightful updates on programme health, progress, and key decisions.
  • Partner with the Programme Director and senior stakeholders, supporting decision-making, managing escalations, and responding to high-priority business requests.
  • Champion effective governance by identifying, managing, and escalating cross-workstream risks, issues, and dependencies to drive successful outcomes.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing PMO team, fostering continuous improvement, delivery discipline, and consistently high-quality programme outputs.

Who you are

  • You bring experience leading PMO functions, governance, or programme delivery within large-scale transformation environments.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior leaders and translating complex programme information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Skilled at building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions across multiple teams and priorities.
  • Highly organised, with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to maintain quality while managing competing demands.
  • Experienced in programme governance frameworks and PMO operating models, with excellent judgement, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.
