As our International Trading Safely and Legally Manager, you will be the key link between M&S and our international partners, ensuring safe, legal and compliant trading across all markets.

You will provide expert guidance on global safety, health, compliance and regulatory requirements, helping the business navigate complex risks while protecting our customers, colleagues and brand reputation.

Through strong stakeholder collaboration, you will drive governance, influence best practice and support the delivery of a robust safety culture across our international operations.

  • What you’ll do
  • Your key accountabilities will include
  • Act as the key link between Group FHS and international owned/JV businesses
  • Establish and maintain global fire, health & safety & food policies
  • Support local market teams in implementing safety governance and building a strong safety culture
  • Drive action plans to address non-compliance at store and country level
  • Provide governance frameworks and elevate key risks to the Group Safety Committee
