Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Clothing & Home section, where you\'ll champion stylish products, on-trend designs, and exceptional customer service. We’re looking for passionate and fashion-forward individuals who are excited to dress the nation. You’ll be a brand ambassador ready to recommend our newest items and ensure customers feel valued every time they shop with us.

Responsibilities

  • Serve our customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points.
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, with shelves stocked and products available.
  • Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions, and selling opportunities.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations, and deliver remarkable service.
  • Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services.
  • Utilise digital tools and in-store devices to enhance the customer experience and meet customer needs.
  • Work as a team to create an inclusive store environment and support colleagues and the local community.
  • Be flexible to work across various areas of the store and adapt to changing retail demands.

Requirements and Expectations
