We're looking for a Product Manager to help shape and deliver innovative technology solutions that power our M&S Food online catalog and enhance the customer experience online. This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to bring our in-store food catalog online and extend our offerings in gifting & entertainment. As part of the Web Experience team in the Online portfolio, you'll contribute to the product strategy and ongoing digital product development for M&S.com. Acting as the voice of the customer, you'll help develop data-informed product solutions to complex customer problems, holistically manage the Food online web experience from strategy creation, product planning and build, to launch and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and apply insight from customer research, data analytics, market and competitor analysis, industry / product / technology trends etc.
  • Contribute to development of business cases that include: market analysis, costs, business/user benefits, OPEX & CAPEX calculations, sensitivity analysis & NPS output.
  • Manage a backlog of customer problems, new features, optimising existing features, technical debt, quick wins vs strategic projects that will make an impact to your product goals.
  • Contribute to each quarterly prioritisation process and create a hi-level product roadmap, presenting it to wider teams and stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrate a good level of understanding of the full technology stack and understand how your product interacts with all areas of the business.

Your skills and experience

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to lead and influence partners at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment, with a proven understanding of agile methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with UX design principles and experience working with design teams to build intuitive and user-friendly products.
  • A passion for technology and innovation, with the ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies.
