Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates will be asked to work up to full time during the weeks commencing 14th and 21st December.
This role involves working with specialist cutting equipment… and cannot consider applications from anyone under 18.
Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Bakery section, where you\’ll become a champion of our delicious baked goods.
Working Pattern
- Week 1: Sunday 09:30‑17:30, Wednesday 09:00‑16:00, Thursday 13:30‑21:30, Friday 10:00‑17:00
- Week 2: Monday 09:00‑16:00, Tuesday 13:30‑21:30, Friday 06:00‑14:00, Saturday 10:00‑17:00
You\’ll be a brand ambassador who recommends our delicious bakery products and ensures customers feel valued each time.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers efficiently on shop floor and at service points.
- Keep store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked.
- Monitor and deliver daily sales targets, priorities, promotions, and selling opportunities.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand needs, make recommendations, and deliver remarkable service.
- Build expert product knowledge and sell/recommend products and services.
- Use digital tools such as the Sparks App to enhance the customer experience.
