Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates will be asked to work up to full time during the weeks commencing 14th and 21st December.

Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Foods section, where you will become a champion of our high-quality products, great value offers, and excellent customer service. We are seeking passionate individuals who take pride in their knowledge of M&S Food products and are excited to share it with our customers. You will be a brand ambassador who is ready to recommend our newest Food products. Through remarkable service, you will make sure our customers feel truly valued every time they shop with us.

You will utilise our digital tools, such as the Sparks App and our in-store devices, to enhance the customer experience and ensure they get the products they want when they need them.

Flexibility is also vital. You should be confident to work effectively across various areas of the store, adapting to the changing demands of the retail environment seamlessly.

Purpose: To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, we are looking for colleagues who put customers before tasks every time whilst championing and promoting our brilliant products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers helping us to continually improve.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points.
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with product.
  • Monitor and deliver on the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions, and selling opportunities.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations, and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store.
  • Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services.
  • We will give you the training to utilise all digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time.
