Christmas Customer Assistant – Fashion, Home & Beauty – Leeds

Work pattern: Saturday 06:00‑10:00, Sunday 07:00‑11:00, Monday 06:00‑10:00, Friday 06:00‑10:00. Full‑time during the weeks commencing 14th and 21st December, with a £3.00 unsocial premium for hours 22:00‑06:00.

Join our team as a Customer Assistant in our Clothing & Home section, where you\’ll promote stylish products, on‑trend designs, and exceptional customer service. We’re looking for passionate, fashion‑forward individuals excited to dress the nation.

As a brand ambassador, you’ll recommend our newest fashion items and ensure customers feel valued every time they shop. Key responsibilities include supporting a great inclusive store environment, using digital tools (Sparks App, in‑store devices), and adapting across store areas.

Purpose: Deliver a great shopping experience, championing M&S products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers, helping us continuously improve.

  • Serve customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points.
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are always stocked.
  • Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit.
  • Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services.
