We now have an exciting opportunity for a Uniform & Consumables Operative to join our Consumables & Uniform Team on site.
All the detailsThis role will support the Manager with their broad remit to run their department efficiently, delivering daily targets to meet site and colleague requirements enabling us to deliver the service our customers expect. If you apply for this role you must be prepared to work towards Forklift/PPT/MHE certification. This vacancy will follow a Week 2 Days Shift pattern and will work 6:00 am to 18:00 pm. The contracted hours for this position are 38.50 and once qualified as an MHE driver you will receive an additional MHE relief payment of 32 pence per hour on top of the hour rate of pay which is £12.85ph.
What You’ll DoYour key accountabilities will include:
- Drive and support adherence to ensure quality metrics are delivered at all stages of the process.
- Act as a subject matter authority (SME) within your assigned work area.
- Upskill your team/department to ensure flexibility across the site is maintained to support sudden shifts in throughput requirements.
- Stock takes regularly to ensure that all areas are controlled in a correct manner, including Uniform, PPE, Glove Cabinets & Consumables.
- Ensure that the booking in and out of product is accurate and stock arriving is checked for errors.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Strong administration skills, highly organised and able to communicate at all levels both verbally and through written communications.
- Experience using Word and Excel.
- The ability to coach and support others to achieve targets.
- Experience using handheld devices.
- Enjoys working as part of a Team.
