As part of our Architecture team, you\’ll play a key role in shaping the future of retail through strategic technology investments and modern, scalable solutions.

In this role, you\’ll bring deep business and process expertise to help align strategic objectives with actionable initiatives. You\’ll ensure clear visibility from business goals through to delivery, supporting prioritisation with financial insight and helping the business make informed decisions.

What you\’ll do

  • Define business impacts of strategic objectives. This should include the targets, roadmap and business transition states, identifying business and technical impacts, required guardrails, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Own value stream and business process design. Lead the design and optimisation of business processes across different assignments to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Ensure business prioritisation decisions consider investment and operating costs. Support informed decision-making by integrating financial implications into prioritisation frameworks.
  • Work across squads and tribes to align end-to-end architecture and roadmaps
  • Maintain architectural integrity while balancing business needs and cost-effectiveness driving architecture guardrails and seeking design authority/architecture board approval as appropriate

Your skills and experience will include:

  • 5 – 10+ years business architecture expertise, ideally with Business Architecture modelling experience (e.g. BPMN, APQC etc)
  • Proven track record of delivering business architectures for digital transformation at scale and execution at pace within the last 3 years of emerging architecture and technology trends
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging platforms / technologies in their area of expertise. Ability to assess emerging technologies and align solutions with strategic objectives
  • Strategic thinking to drive customer-centric outcomes with simple and easy to understand written and verbal communication.
  • instinctively collaborative at all stages of development of work, identifying right stakeholders, engaging with them appropriately, and maintaining their buy-in through to final agreement
